Ecommerce solution provider Graas.ai has raised $9 Mn (around INR 78 Cr) in its Series B funding round led by Tin Men Capital, with participation from Incred Wealth, Orzon and existing investors Integra Partners and Yuj Ventures.
The startup plans to deploy the freshly raised capital to expand its agentic AI stack, Agent Foundry, which analyses real-time performance across sales channels and advertising campaigns for ecommerce players. It caters to both D2C and marketplace brands.
“We’ve spent two years building the data backbone, and now with Agent Foundry, we’re helping brands act on it. This multi-agent framework lets us create bespoke agents solving commerce’s toughest problems,” said Graas.ai cofounder and chief executive officer Prem Bhatia.
Founded in 2022 by Bhatia and Ashwin Puri, Grass is an AI-based B2B ecommerce solution provider which helps brands with data-driven decision making. The startup deploys AI agents to offer solutions, including campaign performance analysis, organising unstructured data into action and customer support.
The startup had last raised $40 Mn in its Series A funding round to acquire Pune-based D2C platform Shoptimize and marketplace specialist SELLinALL. Besides, these funds were deployed to scale up operations in the Southeast Asia region and to hire talents across multiple verticals.
Grass offers five AI agents as follows –

Ecommerce, dealing with numerous simultaneous users, necessitates technology for efficient operations and swift decision-making. Technologies like AI and machine learning enhance personalisation, fraud detection and customer support, while also automating tasks.
India’s ecommerce sector is actively investing in AI to boost various aspects of its operations, aiming for greater efficiency and a more streamlined workflow. This adoption is driven by the rise in customer expectations for faster, more personalised and convenient online shopping experiences.
The market, which is projected to cross the $400 Bn mark by 2030, is transitioning to its AI alter ego.
On this note, several startups are building AI agents to offer services to the ecommerce players. For instance, Scapic founders Sai Krishna V K and Ajay P V recently incorporated their new ecommerce solution platform ShopOS.
The startup leverages AI to assist brands with end-to-end ecommerce operations including catalogue operations, category management, pricing promotions, recommendations, marketing and more. It recently raised $20 Mn in its seed funding round.
Similarly, Highperformr.AI is also an AI startup, assisting social media platforms to boost their B2B campaigns and enhance return on investment.
As per a report, more than 60% of Indian retail and ecommerce brands plan to increase AI investments in 2025, with both established players (like Flipkart and Amazon) and new-age D2C brands aggressively adopting AI-driven solutions.
