Friends, in today's digital world, money transactions have become easy with the help of smartphones and UPI, you can transfer money from anywhere to anyone with the Unified Payments Interface, apps like Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe and Amazon Pay have made it easy to transfer all kinds of amounts, from small payments to large transactions. UPI transfers have a daily limit, which varies according to the platform and bank. Let's know about them
General UPI transfer limit
According to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), a person can transfer up to ₹ 1 lakh per day through UPI.
This limit applies to most UPI apps, but banks and apps may also have some additional restrictions.
Platform-wise UPI limits
1. Amazon Pay
Maximum transfer limit: ₹ 1 lakh per day.
For new users (first 24 hours of registration): The limit is ₹5,000 per day.
2. Google Pay (GPay)
Maximum transfer limit: ₹1 lakh per day.
Users can make a maximum of 10 transactions per day.
Exceeding any limit will block further transactions for that day.
3. PhonePe
Maximum transfer limit: ₹1 lakh per day.
Actual limit may vary depending on the linked bank account and transaction history.
4. Paytm
Maximum transfer limit: ₹1 lakh per day.
Users can transfer ₹20,000 per hour.
Transaction limit: 5 transactions per hour and 20 transactions per day.
Limits may also vary depending on bank policies and account type.
