Stacey Dooley: 'I spent the weekend with Lily Phillips and I was shocked by one thing'

Stacey Dooley spoke of her concern for Lily Phillips after spending a weekend with the adult content creator. Stacey's U show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over sees her meet and spend the weekend with a string of well-known faces.

This week, it was the turn of adult content creator Lily Philips, who at 23 calls herself a multi-millionaire. She dropped out of university after a few months to pursue a career on website OnlyFans, selling her content.

Stacey spent a weekend with Lily, which began with the content creator doing a livestream for her fans. The content of which horrified Stacey that she had to leave the room 15 minutes before the end.

Things only got worse for Stacey when she found out Lily had scheduled a 'stunt' over the weekend, where she invited men of all ages to a certain location. The content was then to be filmed and sold on her account.

Lily went as far as personally inviting men on the streets to the event, which was attended by 20 people - including one young man who said he paid for Lily's online content using his mum's credit card.

The nature of the content Lily filmed with the men was so explicit that Stacey stood outside. One moment after the event, Lily told Stacey that she would get the men to all shower before it happens again, leaving Stacey horrified.

Spending the weekend with Lily - and speaking to her parents - Stacey seemed concerned for Lily. "The thing is with Lily is - she's great company - but there's a persona and image she's trying to put forward and I don't believe that everything is as fantastic as she'd have you believe," Stacey said after spending the weekend with Lily.

Her parents also expressed their fears for their daughter. Her dad said: "If there's anything we could do to change her profession, we'd do it overnight ... It's the degradingness of it and making sure that she's safe ...

"Sometimes we think have we done anything wrong with her upbringing, well as far as I'm concerned we've had nothing but nice times and love ... Is it money? Because if it was money, we'd sell our house."

Speaking about the decision to feature Lily in the new series - which has been heavily criticised, Stacey said: "I knew that Lily Phillips was going to be an adventurous weekend, and I knew that it was going to be quite full-on, but I leaned into that.

"She was good company, very accommodating and there’s a real sweetness to her that I don’t think is immediately obvious, because what she’s saying is so outrageous, But, also there’s a scene at the end of the film that shows a side of her we haven’t seen before."

At the end of the documentary, Stacey comforts a tearful Lily who is struggling with her parents' comments. "Is all of this worth it?" she asked Lily, who told her: "I can't imagine what else I'd be doing. It gives me so much drive and a reason to wake up in the morning. This is something that isn't degrading for me - I still have to live my life how I want to."

Stacey said: "As I leave, I wonder how long Stacey will keep pursuing her controversial line of work. But one thing seems clear, the demand for what she's supplying doesn't seem to be going away."
