SinceTravis Kelce's engagement to Taylor Swift, which took place roughly two weeks before their joint Instagram announcement, his mother Donna has been quietly preserving memories from the momentous time.
The couple got engaged after two years of dating one another and announced their happy news earlier this week on Tuesday in a joint social media post.
"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," they said, alongside a dynamite stick emoji. Taylor, 35, who has 280 million Instagram followers, also posted a heart on her Instagram story with her song So High School from the anthology version of the album The Tortured Poets Department.
The song, which is said to have been written about her fiancé, also 35, played in the background of her social media post.

Since sharing the good news with their family, friends, and fans, Travis' proud mum Donna has been putting things in order ahead of her son's big day as sources have revealed that she has been saving sentimental items to make their wedding day as special as can be.
"Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes and flowers. She is very sentimental about it. She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple," an insider revealed.

The Kelce and Swift families are said to be thrilled and can't wait to see pop star Taylor become a blushing pride and marry her prince charming once and for all. “There were toasts, happy tears and everyone is thrilled for them,” the source added to People.
While Donna has yet to publicly comment on her son's engagement, she subtly celebrated by updating her Facebook background to a childhood photo collage of the couple, captioned: “THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED.”
Elsewhere, Travis’s dad, Ed Kelce, revealed more about the private proposal to News 5 Cleveland, sharing that it happened about two weeks earlier than planned.
He revealed: “Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago. He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy.”
Ed encouraged his son to keep it simple as he said: “You could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event... when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.”
He then went on to describe the moment the loved-up couple told their parents. Ed revealed: “They were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘let’s go out and have a glass of wine.’ They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great.”
Travis and Taylor's love story began back in July 2023, when Travis made his way to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City - not for a Chiefs match-up, but rather to be amidst the buzz of Taylor's iconic Eras Tour.
On his podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, he later dished out the details about his real motives for attending the gig.
The American footballer had planned to pass Taylor his phone number via a friendship bracelet, only to find out she avoids talking pre and post-concerts to preserve her vocal cords. Fortunately, he got a second shot at winning her over when Taylor heard of his bold gesture.
