A shocking incident has come to light in Surat in the name of faith and belief. A woman's visit to 'Bhuwani' Gangaram with her husband to get the happiness of having a child proved to be costly. Gangaram made the woman a victim of his lust several times on the pretext of removing 'Pitru Dosh'. After which, the accused has been arrested due to the prudence of the husband.
How did this fraud start?
A 25-year-old woman from Surat had been married for two years but due to not having a child, she along with her husband went to a man named Gangaram Ramcharandas in Chiroda village of Botad district who claimed to be a devotee of Hanumanji. Gangaram told them that there is 'Pitru Dosha' in the family and if the ritual is performed, everything will be fine. The couple believed him.
Raped 9 times
The woman told the police that Gangaram came to her house on the pretext of performing a ritual one and a half months ago and raped her by performing black magic and vashikaran. After this, in the beginning of August, Gangaram called the woman alone to his house in Chiroda in the name of performing a ritual for Pitradosha. There also he kept the woman hostage for two days and raped her.
When the woman did not return, her husband went to Adajan police station. The police made a plan to catch Gangaram and called him to Surat on the pretext of doing a ritual. Caught in the trap of the police, Gangaram was coming to Surat with the woman in a private bus. The woman alleges that during this time also the accused had physical relations with her in the moving bus, making it the 9th time.
The accused was caught due to the intelligence of the husband
As soon as the bus reached Surat, the police arrested the accused Gangaram. Adajan police has registered a rape case against Gangaram on the basis of the woman's complaint. The accused is the father of two children. The police is currently investigating the case and other staff including the bus driver are also being questioned.
