Police vans have gathered at the Bell Hotel in Epping ahead of another night of protests at the Essex site being used to house asylum seekers. Footage shows more than a dozen police vans heading to the area which saw violence last week following a demonstration against the housing of migrants.
Masked thugs attacked police vans after a resident was charged with three counts of sexual assault on a local girl. Elsewhere, the Metropolitan Police has erected a steel ring outside the Britannia Hotel in east London. The hotel is set to host asylum seekers, according to the local council, and now the police have put up metal barriers to prevent anyone unauthorised from entering.
