Meghan Markle has shared a new message on Instagram just days before hitting a new major milestone. The Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram stories on Thursday evening to share a new clip of what appears to be her making crisps on her own.
Meghan's clip appeared to hint that fans will be able to see how she makes her own crisps at home in the new season of her Netflix show, which will land on Tuesday. She captioned the video: "New season of 'With Love, Meghan' August 26th on @netflix.
"Dare I say, 'It's all that... and a bag of chips'."
With Love, Meghan season 2 will hit our screens on Tuesday, August 26.
The new season has a new guest lineup including US model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen and Queer Eye star Tan France, as well as podcaster Jay Shetty and his cookbook author wife Radhi Devlukia.
Chefs Samin Nosrat, Clare Smyth, Christina Tosi, Jose Andres, and David Chang, and Meghan's close friends, make-up entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima, pilates instructor Heather Dorak, and makeup artist Daniel Martin, will also appear.
The first season ranked 383rd in the streaming giant's global most-watched list, gathering a total of 5.3million views in the first half of the year. It also snatched a 3.2 rating out of 10 on IMDb.com.
One review in The Guardian described it as a "gormless lifestyle filler" and "so pointless it might be the Sussexes' last TV show," while the Telegraph described it as "insane".
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has criticised the Duchess for "trying to wash her reputation" with her new show.
She told The Sun: "I think she's doing this 'pursuit of joy, happiness, look at me dancing, having fun' as a way to change public perception about her."
"If you weren't impressed with the first season, don't expect a sudden evolution. You're getting more of the same recipe here, and you really see that in the trailer. It doesn't look like there's any real shift here - even the music is very much the same."
Despite that, there were various fans who said they were excited about the new season of With Love, Meghan, with one user writing on Instagram: "Love the show and it's great to see our Meghan do her thing !!! The haters are so ashamed!!! God is blessing you and Prince Harry and your children and family everyday !! Keep shining and soaring!!!"
Another one said: "Sooo excited!" while a third one added: "Can't wait. Her show is full of light, love and positivity, a welcome relief from everything!"
